Jimin Sets New K-Pop Record… ‘Like Crazy’ Surpasses 1.5 Billion Streams

Jimin of 'BTS' has achieved another solo milestone. A song has surpassed 1.5 billion streams.

According to the latest Spotify data, the title track "Who" from Jimin's 2nd solo album 'MUSE' surpassed 1.5 billion cumulative streams as of the 26th.

Chart Data described, "Jimin's 'Who' is the fastest K-pop song to reach 1.5 billion streams in Spotify history."

Released in July last year, "Who" recorded the highest daily streams among all K-pop releases at the time. It entered the Daily Top Songs Global at number 3.

The song also saw a resurgence. It climbed the ranks on the fifth day of its release and reached number 1 on the charts dated the 23rd. It maintained the top spot for four consecutive days.

The song displayed enduring popularity, being identified as the most-streamed K-pop track globally according to Spotify's '2024 Wrapped Year-End' counts.

It also achieved 1 billion streams in the shortest period among songs released by K-pop artists. The song has been charting for 31 weeks on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global.'

Not only on Spotify, but Jimin also dominated various global charts with "Who." It stayed on the UK's Official Singles Chart for 25 weeks, marking the longest record.

Jimin's presence on the US Billboard is also noteworthy. 'MUSE' has appeared on the main album chart 'Billboard 200' for 31 weeks, setting another record for the longest charting.

Meanwhile, Jimin is expected to soon have two songs with 1.5 billion streams each. "Like Crazy" is close to reaching 1.5 billion cumulatively.
