Actor Joo Sang-wook will make a special appearance in 'Treasure Island.'
The SBS-TV Friday-Saturday drama 'Treasure Island' (written by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-kyu) released preview stills for episode 3 on the 26th. Joo Sang-wook is seen with a mysterious young girl.
According to the production team, this scene is a flashback. Joo Sang-wook spends a happy time with his young daughter, holding her in his arms while reading a storybook.
Details about the character he plays have not yet been revealed. This contrast to the somewhat heavy storyline is increasing viewers' curiosity.
The production team stated, "Joo Sang-wook is an actor who inspires trust just by his name. We thought he would fit the role and were grateful when he readily accepted."
They added, "He delivered an excellent performance on set. It will be interesting to see what role he takes on. We ask for your attention and anticipation."
'Treasure Island' is a full-life betting revenge drama. It tells the story of a man who hacks political slush funds and confronts absolute evil. Episode 3 will air on the 8th at 10 PM.
