Singer and actress Choo So-jeong is taking on the challenge of an office romance comedy. King Kong by Starship announced on the 25th that Choo So-jeong will be appearing in the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Divorce Insurance’ (written by Lee Tae-yoon, directed by Lee Won-seok and Choi Bo-kyung).

‘Divorce Insurance’ is a pure guaranteed type romantic comedy, depicting the story of insurance company employees launching a divorce insurance product. Choo So-jeong plays the role of claims adjuster Jo Ah-young, the only single person in the innovative product development team led by No Gi-jun (played by Lee Dong-wook).

The drama presents a unique perspective on divorce. Through the role of a non-marriage advocate, her character exudes a bold and lively energy. She is expected to bring vitality to the series.

Choo So-jeong continues to diversify her filmography by appearing on both TV and the big screen. In addition to ‘Divorce Insurance,’ she is preparing for the premiere of Netflix's ‘Hostage House.’

Her agency stated, "Choo So-jeong is anticipated to have an active acting career," and asked viewers to "look forward to the presence she'll bring in ‘Divorce Insurance’.”

Meanwhile, ‘Divorce Insurance’ is set to premiere at 8:50 PM on the 31st of next month.
