Kihyun from 'MONSTA X' returns to his fans. He has completed his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier.

On the 21st, Kihyun announced on Instagram, "I have become a civilian." He completed his service at the 25th Infantry Division in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. After enlisting in August 2023, he diligently served in the military band.

He expressed his gratitude to his fans on site as well. He said, "I worked hard during my military service to the point where I wouldn’t be embarrassed to tell anyone and received many awards. I can proudly stand before Monbebe," and bowed 90 degrees.

He is the fourth member in the team to become a reservist. The eldest member, Shownu, completed his alternative military service as a social service worker, while Minhyuk was discharged last October and Joohoney last month. Hyungwon is expected to be discharged on May 13th.

MONSTA X is anticipating their 10th debut anniversary on May 14th. Previously, Shownu and Minhyuk hinted that "many things are planned." Once Hyungwon is discharged, the group plans to meet fans as a complete unit.
