Le Sserafim is making a hot comeback. On the 21st at midnight, they released the trailer "Bonfire" for their fifth mini-album 'Hot' on their official SNS. They teamed up again with director Yang Yoon-ah of their previous work 'Crazy.' The members were displayed like art pieces in a quiet museum.
Their artwork is titled 'HOT, We're hot on our own, 2025.' A cat emerges among the audience, breathing life into the members, who break free from the frame and start to move freely.
Every time Le Sserafim moves, the museum's interior temperature rises. The sophisticated, fashion-film-like visuals are impressive. The story involving the (immortal) cat as a medium was intriguing.
The self-recorded narration is also captivating: "A flame has been born. The blaze consumes silence and splits the darkness," symbolically representing the theme of the trailer.
Their trademark confident walk was also showcased. With determined eyes, Le Sserafim moves forward without hesitation, even if the path is cut off. This raises the surrounding temperature, eventually turning everything to ash.
However, Le Sserafim is not defeated. They are reborn from the ashes, becoming an 'immortal' existence. This work embodies the determination to overcome trials and adversity.
Meanwhile, Le Sserafim will release 'Hot' on major music platforms at 1 PM on the 14th of next month. From the 24th to the 28th, they plan to raise excitement for their comeback by revealing concept photos in three different versions.
