The Weverse Con Festival is making a comeback. This year, it introduces an outdoor performance to offer a more diverse array of stages.
Global platform 'Weverse' announced on the 20th the '2025 Weverse Con Festival,' which will be held from May 31 to June 1 at the Inspire Resort on Incheon’s Yeongjong Island.
The Weverse Con Festival is a music festival that transcends genres and generations. This marks its third year. Last year, 24 teams of domestic and international artists, including Seventeen and Yoasobi, participated, drawing an audience of 40,000.
This year, there is a strong focus on stage composition. 'Weverse Con' will allow attendees to enjoy indoor performances at a level akin to solo concerts. Additionally, 'Weverse Park,' where attendees can experience arrangements by live bands outdoors, has been set up.
'Weverse Park' will host evening performances. Artists who fit the ambiance of an outdoor festival will take to the stage. Additionally, artists who are not on Weverse are expected to perform, further elevating the atmosphere.
A 'Tribute Stage' will also be held to spotlight legendary artists. In 2023, it was Uhm Jung-hwa, and in 2024, Park Jin-young. There is anticipation over which artist will deliver a legendary performance this year.
Meanwhile, the artist lineup for the Weverse Con Festival will be revealed sequentially starting in March.
