Singer G-Dragon is finally making a comeback. He returns with a full-length album 11 years and 5 months after the release of ‘COUP D’ETAT’ in September 2013.
On the 25th, G-Dragon will release his third full album ‘Übermensch’ on various music platforms. ‘Übermensch’ refers to ‘Superman,’ an ideal human proposed by philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche as a life goal.
In English, it means ‘Beyond-Man.’ G-Dragon’s team stated, “It reflects the will to return as a stronger and more solid presence, surpassing himself rather than anyone else.”
A teaser video was released, showcasing G-Dragon’s silhouette walking amidst dreamy lights. As his two silhouettes met, the Ü logo of ‘Übermensch’ transformed, unveiling a mesmerizing motion.
The sound included fans’ cheers, with a heartbeat sound leaving a strong impression. The ending revealed the release date ‘2025.02.25’, heightening anticipation for the new album.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will perform at the ‘K-Star Spark’ event on the 22nd (local time) at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He is set to appear with Daesung from ‘Big Bang’ on that day.
