Actor Moon Seong-hyun will play Cha Joo-young's son.
On the 4th, FNC Entertainment announced, "Moon Seong-hyun will join the tvN-X-Tving original drama 'Won-gyeong' (written by Lee Young-mi, directed by Kim Sang-ho)."
Moon Seong-hyun will take on the role of Crown Prince Yangnyeong. He is the eldest son of King Taejong Lee Bang-won (played by Lee Hyun-wook) and Queen Won-gyeong (played by Cha Joo-young), and is positioned as the crown prince.
He stands at the center of a powerful narrative, causing various conflicts. The drama depicts his struggle between the responsibility of leading the nation and his free-spirited nature.
Moon plans to showcase delicate acting skills. He will vividly express the deep anguish and emotions of Crown Prince Yangnyeong, enhancing the viewer's immersion in the process.
Moon Seong-hyun has left a strong impression on television audiences through dramas such as ‘Shuroop’, ‘The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family’, ‘Lovers’, ‘Queen of Tears’, and ‘The Beauty and the Pure-hearted Man’.
Last year, he appeared in the film 'Fragments' (directed by Kim Sung-yoon) and attended the Busan International Film Festival for the first time since his debut, marking significant growth as an actor.
Meanwhile, 'Won-gyeong', in which Moon Seong-hyun is cast, will air every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM on tvN.
