Actors Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk team up for a mystery series.
Netflix confirmed on the 22nd the production of the new series 'Lady Duaa.' It is the latest work by director Kim Jin-min, known for Netflix's 'The Fool of the End,' 'Extracurricular,' and 'My Name.'
'Lady Duaa' tells the story of a woman, 'Sarah Kim' (played by Shin Hye-sun), who desired to become a luxury brand, even if fake, and the man 'Moo Kyung' (played by Lee Jun-hyuk) who traces her desires.
Shin Hye-sun takes on the role of 'Sarah Kim,' the Asia regional manager of a high-end brand. She is a mysterious figure who is famous yet not easily seen. She is pointed out as the victim of an unidentified murder case in the world of the upper class.
Lee Jun-hyuk plays the role of 'Moo Kyung,' a detective in the violent crimes unit with a sharp eye who doggedly delves into the case. He gradually uncovers Sarah Kim's real name, age, job, and background.
'Lady Duaa' involves 'Mask Girl' and 'The Outlaws' cinematographer Jo Sung-lim, 'Squid Game' editor Nam Na-young, and costume director Cho Sang-kyung.
