MISAMO, a unit of 'TWICE,' entered the Tokyo Dome.
MISAMO held their first dome tour, 'MISAMO Japan Dome Tour – HAUTE COUTURE', with a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 15th and 16th of last month.
It was 1 year and 6 months after their debut in Japan. In July 2023, MISAMO released their first mini-album 'Masterpiece', setting a record for the shortest time of entry among female artists.
The first stage was the debut album's title track 'Do not touch'. They continued the excitement with performances of songs from their second mini-album 'HAUTE COUTURE'.
MISAMO also presented the title song 'Identity' from their second mini-album. Their cover of Namie Amuro's song 'NEW LOOK' led to a singalong.
The members also actively contributed ideas to the stage production. MISAMO performed 'RUNWAY' in a venue reminiscent of an actual runway.
They expressed their feelings by saying, "It really felt like a dream when we first stood at the Tokyo Dome with TWICE. We never imagined we would stand on this stage again as MISAMO."
Furthermore, they added, "Thanks to ONCE (fandom name), we were able to have such an amazing experience. This was MISAMO's first challenge and it will remain a very meaningful memory."
Meanwhile, MISAMO's dome tour attracted a total of 250,000 spectators, visiting Saitama's Belluna Dome, Osaka's Kyocera Dome, and Tokyo Dome.
