Stray Kids have set a remarkable record. They have surpassed 30 million album shipments in South Korea and Japan. JYP Entertainment announced on the 20th that "Stray Kids have reached a cumulative shipment of 31,182,158 copies across 25 releases in both countries as of December 31."
They have released 17 albums in South Korea, from their debut album 'Mixtape' to the SKZ collaboration 'Hop'. A total of 27,723,267 copies have been shipped.
In Japan, they have released 8 albums starting with the first best album 'SKZ2020' in 2020, up to their second full album 'GIANT', achieving 3,458,891 copies sold.
After surpassing 10 million in cumulative shipments, they added another 20 million in just 2 years and 3 months. In 2022, Stray Kids set this record with 18 album releases.
Their agency analyzed, "After surpassing 10 million cumulative shipments, Stray Kids released 7 more albums, enhancing their album power significantly."
In fact, their 3rd full album '5-STAR' has achieved pre-orders of 5.13 million and first-week sales of 4,617,499 copies.
Within two months of its release, the new album exceeded 5 million in cumulative sales (Circle Chart). It became JYP's first penta-million seller and was counted as the best-selling K-pop album in the U.S.
Thanks to their global popularity, Stray Kids entered the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the U.S., at number 1 for the sixth consecutive time. All their latest works reached the top.
They are expected to continue their active performances on domestic and international stages this year. They restarted their world tour 'dominate' in Hong Kong on the 18th and 19th.
That's not all. They will tour 20 regions across Latin America, North America, and Europe. Through the large-scale stadium tour, they will provide special memories to fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their 5th fan meeting 'SKZ 5'O CLOCK' from the 14th to the 16th of next month at Incheon Inspire Arena.
