IVE captivated listeners worldwide with their pre-release track.

On the 13th, IVE released the music video for “REBEL HEART,” the pre-release title track from their 3rd EP ‘IVE EMPATHY,’ on their official YouTube channel.

The video, lasting about 3 minutes and 12 seconds, depicts the members as rebellious outcasts. They are isolated from the world, sharing their wounds and pains as they grow together.

It delivers a poignant impact. Autumn writes on the mirror, “Let’s not hate each other. I love you.” Lee Seo, walking on an overpass, sheds tears in a friend’s embrace.

The deeply relatable message resonated well. The music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within 32 hours of its release. It topped the trending music and video charts for two consecutive days.

That’s not all. The video ranked 2nd on the YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide chart and was listed among trending videos in 13 different countries/regions globally.

The song has also gained global popularity. “REBEL HEART” ranked in the top 10 on iTunes’ ‘Top K-Pop Songs’ chart in 26 countries/regions, reaching number 1 in 16 of them.

The “Worldwide iTunes Song” chart showed a sharp upward trend. Upon release, “REBEL HEART” ranked 29th, jumping 14 spots to 15th the next day, on the 14th.

Meanwhile, IVE will make a comeback with ‘IVE EMPATHY’ on the 3rd of next month.
