BTS has set a new record in music streaming. According to Spotify, BTS's digital single "Dynamite" surpassed 2 billion streams as of the 12th. This is a first for a K-pop group. It is also the first time a single song has surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify, achieving this remarkable record in just over four years since its release. This song was the first Korean artist's track to top Spotify's "Daily Top Song Global." It also achieved the most streams on its release day.

BTS has made a new chapter in the history of Korean popular music. With this song, BTS became the first group to reach No. 1 on Billboard's main song chart, the "Hot 100." That's not all. "Dynamite" stayed at the top position on the "Hot 100" chart for the longest period (two weeks) for a K-pop artist. It remained in the Top 5 for eight consecutive weeks.

There are more groundbreaking records. It was nominated for the "Grammy Awards," one of the four major American award ceremonies. In Japan's Oricon chart, it became the first foreign song to reach 800 million streams.

"Dynamite" is a disco-pop genre song with an addictive rhythm. The music video surpassed 1.9 billion cumulative views on YouTube last year.
