Actor Hwang Min-hyun displays a remarkable passion for learning. TVING’s original ‘Study Group’ released a group poster and main trailer on the 13th. It depicts the study group found by Hwang Min-hyun at the world’s toughest school.
‘Study Group’ is a comedic high school action series. It tells the story of Yoon Ga-min (played by Hwang Min-hyun), who wants to study well but is only talented in fighting, as he dives into academics at a delinquent school.
The trailer is intriguing. Hwang Min-hyun has no talent for studying. His winning strategy is the study group. In a school where hierarchy fights occur every day, he searches for a glimmer of study.
Finding a study group is not easy. He gets embroiled in fights. Though he has an innocent appearance, Hwang Min-hyun possesses surprising fighting skills. He faces the greatest challenge at Yuseong High School.
Han Ji-eun (as Lee Han-kyung), Lee Jong-hyun (as Kim Se-hyun), Shin Soo-hyun (as Lee Ji-woo), Yoon Sang-jung (as Choi Hee-won), and Gong Do-yu (as Lee Joon) join the study group.
Hwang Min-hyun also begins to fight. He showcases intense action to protect the study group. Cha Woo-min, the dominating force in the hierarchy battles at Yuseong High School (played by Pi Han-ul), adds an ominous comment, “It’s going to get interesting.”
The poster is also impressive. Hwang Min-hyun has formed the study group he dreamed of. His face, holding a notebook, is full of excitement. His friends stand firmly by his side.
On Yuseong High School’s flag, the phrase “We fight today as well. Only to study” is inscribed, hinting at the thrilling exploits Hwang Min-hyun and the study group will unfold at the delinquent school.
An official stated, “For ‘Him Hyun Jin’ Hwang Min-hyun who chose to fight to study, the growing pains of the study group students and exhilarating action will provide catharsis.” Director Lee Jang-hoon of films ‘Miracle’ and ‘Be With You,’ along with writers Eom Seon-ho and Oh Bo-hyun, have teamed up.
Distinctive young actors like Hwang Min-hyun, Han Ji-eun, and Cha Woo-min show their talents. Meanwhile, ‘Study Group’ will be released on TVING on the 23rd (Thursday).
