Jungkook of 'BTS' delivered New Year greetings to ARMY (fan club name). On the 8th, Jungkook posted a new message on Weverse. He expressed his affection, saying, "My New Year greetings are late. This is the year of my discharge and the year we meet. I've always felt this way, just full of longing to see you."

He also revealed his wishes post-discharge. "If there's something I want to do as soon as possible, it's to spend time learning and growing in many ways for ARMY," he said.

He has been just waiting for his discharge. "There aren't any particular events to express my feelings, I'm just waiting. It feels like time is passing quickly. I hope it passes even faster," he wished.

Jungkook enlisted with Jimin in December 2023. He is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the army. He is scheduled to be discharged in June.
