Actor Kwon Sang-woo returns with a reliable comic action film. On the 8th, the production team of ‘Hitman 2’ (directed by Choi Won-seop) released on-site still cuts, named the ‘Shield Kite Loyalty Still.’ It features Kwon Sang-woo, Jung Joon-ho, and Lee Yi-kyung.
Kwon Sang-woo (as Joon), Jung Joon-ho (as Deok-gyu), and Lee Yi-kyung (as Cheol) are seen shoulder to shoulder, embracing each other. The trio boasts even deeper camaraderie than 5 years ago (in the previous film). However, behind the Shield Kite members, a violent silhouette appears. Killers, enraged and excited over Kwon Sang-woo, emerge. This foreshadows the trials that await them, raising tension.
The new face Lee Soon-won (as Yong-chul) can also be seen. He looks on pitifully at the Shield Kite, who causes trouble when they come together. His allegiance—whether enemy or ally—is unclear, stirring curiosity.
He is angry at the crime sparked by Kwon Sang-woo. Jung Joon-ho and Lee Yi-kyung try to calm Lee Soon-won down. A representative stated, “Please watch to see if they can resolve the situation safely.”
‘Hitman 2’ is a comic action film. A terror incident mimics new webtoon series by ‘Joon’ (played by Kwon Sang-woo), who has fallen from a hit successful writer to a controversial one. He gets framed as the perpetrator. ‘Hitman 2’ returns as a sequel after five years.
The previous film ‘Hitman’ (2020) attracted 2.4 million viewers with Kwon Sang-woo’s dynamic comedy and action. It ranked in the top 4 box office hits of that year.
Meanwhile, ‘Hitman 2’ is set to release on the 22nd.
