The team behind the movie 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min-ho) is releasing an OST album. 'Harbin' was released on the 24th of last month and has remained at the top of the box office for two consecutive weeks, maintaining long-term success. The performances by actors Hyun Bin, Park Jung-min, and Jo Woo-jin have been praised.
There's another key to its popularity: the original soundtrack (OST) by music director Jo Young-wook. He has worked on the music for several projects, including 'Thirst' (2009) and 'The Handmaiden' (2016).
The 'Harbin' OST is filled with melodies based on classical music. Hyun Bin's character, Ahn Jung-geun's, anguish and internal conflict are expressed using string and woodwind instruments.
A total of 18 tracks are included. The recordings feature performances by the London Symphony Orchestra and were completed at Abbey Road Studios in the UK, where The Beatles' music was also recorded.
Meanwhile, the 'Harbin' OST will be available on major music sites from noon on the 7th.
