‘LE SSERAFIM’ Huh Yunjin is set to release her fifth self-composed song. On the 29th, Source Music announced the release of Huh Yunjin’s self-composed song “Jellyfish” and unveiled a concept photo, hinting at the atmosphere of the new song and capturing Huh Yunjin’s mysterious visuals. “Jellyfish” is her first self-composed song in 1 year and 4 months, inspired by jellyfish that seem to swim freely in the deep sea.

She previously surprised fans with a preview of the song during a live broadcast. The genre is R&B soul. A representative explained, “The acoustic guitar melody is a highlight,” creating an ethereal feel as if wandering in a dream, harmonizing with Huh Yunjin’s soft vocals.

The concept photo was created by artist Octo, who also shot the cover for Han Kang’s novel “The Vegetarian.” Huh Yunjin personally reached out to Octo, making the collaboration happen. A representative said, “Huh Yunjin offered various opinions on the overall visuals and put great effort into the work,” adding, “You can see a matured Huh Yunjin, both as a musician and a person.”

Huh Yunjin has previously released self-composed songs like “Raise Your Glass,” “Idol,” “To Bloom,” and “Blessing in Disguise,” telling her honest stories through music. “Jellyfish” marks her fifth new song.
