Actress Olivia Hussey has passed away. She was 73 years old.

American media reported on the 27th (local time) the news of Olivia Hussey's death. Variety stated, "Hussey passed away at the age of 73 at her home, surrounded by family."

According to foreign reports, the deceased had been battling cancer. On the same day, a message mourning her death was posted on Hussey's social media. "We feel profound sorrow in sharing the news of her passing," it said.

The author of the post remarked, "Olivia was born on April 17, 1951, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived a life full of passion for the arts, love, devotion, and kindness to animals."

They continued, "Olivia had warmth, wisdom, and pure kindness. She was someone who touched the lives of all who knew her," and they thanked everyone for their love and prayers.

Olivia Hussey was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1951. She later moved to the UK to start her acting career in earnest. Her debut work was the 1964 film 'The Crunch.'

Her representative work is the 1968 film 'Romeo and Juliet' (directed by Franco Zeffirelli), in which she starred at the age of 15. For this film, she won the Golden Globe Award for Best New Actress in 1969.

With her sculptural visuals, she was called the 'Beauty of the Century.' She later appeared in 'Black Christmas,' 'Death on the Nile,' 'Mother Teresa,' and 'Attention Seekers.' Her filmography ceased after 2015.
