Stray Kids have made new history. In just two years since their entry into the Billboard charts, they have brought six albums to the top.
On the 13th, Stray Kids released their mixtape 'Hop.' The new album clinched the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard main chart, 'Billboard 200' (as of the 28th).
This marks their sixth time reaching No. 1 in total. They have consecutively topped the 'Billboard 200' with six albums. Notably, this is the first time such an achievement has been realized since their chart debut.
They have surpassed American rapper DMX. From 'ODDINARY' to 'MAXIDENT,' '5-STAR,' 'ROCKSTAR,' '8th,' and 'HOP,' they have set an unprecedented record.
Overseas media have also taken notice. Publications like 'Billboard,' 'Forbes,' and 'Rolling Stone' have described them as "breaking chart records" and "the protagonists of breaking the glass ceiling in Billboard's 69-year history."
This is thanks to their 'self-producing.' They were uniquely formed. Leader Bang Chan personally assembled the members. In their debut reality show, they completed every mission with self-composed songs.
They have steadily established their unique musical world. They have led the entire production of albums, starting with their pre-debut album 'Mixtape' and official debut album 'I Am NOT.'
The new album also credits the group's in-house producing team 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), along with Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Each member showcased their individuality.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will continue their world tour 'dOMINATE.' It will take place across 32 locations worldwide with 48 performances.
