Singer and actor Jo Yuri is set to showcase a different transformation in the Netflix series “Squid Game” Season 2. In Season 2, Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) vows for revenge and re-enters the game, facing off against the Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun) in a fierce battle.

Jo Yuri plays the role of participant Jun-hee, who lost a large amount of money after trusting investment information from her ex-boyfriend Myung-gi (played by Im Si-wan). She joins the game to recover her losses.

She portrays a character entirely different from what she has shown so far, revealing a strong presence instead of her cute charm, with a focus on detailed emotional expressions.

Her agency stated, “Jo Yuri will be actively working, starting with ‘Squid Game’ Season 2, and will solidify her position as a multi-entertainer.” Meanwhile, “Squid Game” Season 2 is set to be released at 5 PM today.
