Actress Park Gyu-young is embarking on a new game. Park Gyu-young will appear in the Netflix original series ‘Squid Game’ Season 2, playing the role of No-eul, a new cast member not present in the previous season. No-eul is a North Korean defector who was formerly a soldier. Her sole goal in life is to earn money to reunite with her young daughter left in the North.

Related still images have been released, showing Park Gyu-young with her hair tied back and dressed modestly, capturing attention with her dry gaze. Park Gyu-young has previously reached global subscribers through Netflix’s ‘Sweet Home’ Seasons 1 and 2, and ‘Celebrity’, leading to international success.

She delivered an impressive performance as Yoon Ji-soo in ‘Sweet Home’, swinging a baseball bat fearlessly at monsters and leaving a strong impression with her spirit of sacrifice. In ‘Celebrity’, she played Seo Ah-ri, who transforms from an ordinary office worker to a top influencer, showcasing her strong inner resolve despite temptations.

Her agency commented, “Park Gyu-young is recognized as a ‘Netflix public servant’ by everyone. Please look forward to her performance in the newly joined ‘Squid Game’ Season 2.” Meanwhile, ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 will be released on the 26th.
