‘BLACKPINK’ Lisa is returning with her full-length solo album. Sony Music Entertainment Korea announced on the 24th that pre-orders for Lisa’s first full album ‘ALTER EGO’ began on the 23rd. ‘ALTER EGO’ is composed of a total of 7 versions, including 5 photobook albums with different concepts, 1 jewel case, and 12 variations of the vinyl album.
An official expressed hope, saying, “As this is her first full album, we plan to solidify her presence as a global artist with a more mature musical spectrum.” Lisa established Loud Company and simultaneously partnered with RCA Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music.
She released three singles, embarking on a solo career. She showcased a unique side with diverse music such as ‘ROCKSTAR’, ‘NEW WOMAN’, and ‘Moonlit Floor’. Particularly, ‘ROCKSTAR’ entered major global charts, ranking No. 1 on the Billboard Global (excluding US), and No. 4 on the Global 200 weekly chart.
‘NEW WOMAN’ received Best Collaboration and Biggest Fans at the ‘MTV Europe Music Awards 2024’. ‘Moonlit Floor’ also ranked high on the charts. That’s not all. Lisa performed on the stages of the ‘Global Citizen Festival’ and ‘Victoria’s Secret’.
She is also set to appear in season 3 of HBO’s ‘The White Lotus’. Meanwhile, Lisa will release ‘ALTER EGO’ on February 28th next year.
