Actress Chae Won-bin has been honored with the ‘Grime Award.’ Chae Won-bin received the Best Actress Award at the ‘2024 Grime Awards’ ceremony held at the M Lounge in the MBC building in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 11th.
The ‘Grime Award’ was established by the Korean Broadcasting Cameramen Association in 1993. It honors works that demonstrate outstanding visual beauty and creativity throughout the year. The winners are decided through votes from cinematographers.
Chae Won-bin received the most votes for her role as Jang Ha-bin in MBC-TV’s ‘Intimately Betrayed’ and thus received the award. In the drama, Ha-bin engages in a tense psychological battle with her father Jang Tae-soo (played by Han Seok-kyu). Her portrayal of a dual character and delicate emotional acting heightened the immersion.
‘Intimately Betrayed’ achieved a total of five awards, including Best Drama, Best Actor (Han Seok-kyu), Direction, and Editing, in addition to the Best Actress. Meanwhile, Chae Won-bin will appear in KBS-2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Suspicious Woman,’ which premieres on the 18th.
