Twice has once again proven their global popularity. On the 17th (KST), Billboard released the latest chart rankings (as of December 21). Twice’s “Strategy” reached 4th on the ‘Billboard 200’.
They have consecutively placed six albums in the top 10 of the ‘Billboard 200’. This is the most for any K-pop girl group, solidifying their position as a top global girl group. They have been consistently setting records since 2021.
This includes “Taste of Love” (6th, 2021), “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” (3rd, 2021), “Between One & Two” (3rd, 2022), and more. The momentum continued with “Ready to Be” (3rd, 2022). In February this year, their release “With You-s” topped the ‘Billboard 200’. Twice has set overwhelming records.
“Strategy” (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) captures a confident charm, aiming to attract a loved one through various strategies. The addictive melody is impressive.
On the 17th, Twice expressed, “This is an album we worked hard on to meet more fans. We were happy to greet you on music shows after 10 months.” They continued, “We are truly grateful for the immense love received from around the world. Next year, we will be appearing as special guests at the UK band Coldplay’s concert in Korea.”
The members added, “We are also planning a surprise, amazing stage and a completely new world tour. Please look forward to our continued activities in 2025.” Last month, Twice became the first K-pop artist to perform on the ‘Amazon Music Live’ stage, achieving the highest number of viewers with their spectacular performance and stage.
Meanwhile, Twice will appear on NHK’s 75th ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’, Japan’s representative year-end special program, on the 31st. This will be their third appearance.
