Tomorrow X Together received high praise from foreign media. The American music media Consequence selected 'Déjà Vu', the title track of Tomorrow X Together's 6th mini album, 'Minisode 3: Tomorrow', as the 'Title Track of the Year' in their '2024 K-pop Almanac' on the 17th. Consequence described it as "a song that captures the undeniable essence of Tomorrow X Together" and noted that it "recalls their early releases, bringing great fruition in every aspect."
The song speaks about the inevitability of meeting again, as promised, and how the moment of reunion feels like 'déjà vu'. It embodies the narrative of the members' salvation. The members expressed, "We were really surprised when introduced as 'one of the biggest K-pop groups on the planet' on NBC's 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' last April. It's an honor to have this song selected as it reminds us of the responsibility to do our best every time we perform."
They added, "Although there were many cherished moments this year, meeting fans around the world through our world tour is the most memorable. We hope to meet you all again soon." The group also showed strength on the charts. Tomorrow X Together was listed among the '2024 Top Global Artists' announced by TikTok. In the U.S. Billboard annual chart, they ranked 7th for 'Top Album Sales Artist'.
Both their 6th mini album 'Minisode 3: Tomorrow' and 7th mini album 'The Name Chapter: Sanctuary' released this year sold over one million copies in the first week, marking their fifth consecutive initial million-seller record.
