Actors Hyun Bin, Park Jung-min, and Lee Dong-wook, among others, start a life-threatening fight for independence. CJ ENM released 12 stills from the second press release of the movie 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min-ho) on the 13th. It captures the intense journey and tense moments of the independence fighters aiming to eliminate an old wolf.
First, General Ahn Jung-geun (played by Hyun Bin) is caught with a determined expression. He is seen riding a horse across barren lands to restore national sovereignty. Another scene shows him aiming a gun at someone.
The independence fighters' struggles continue. The desperate moments of Woo Deok-soon (played by Park Jung-min), Kim Sang-hyun (played by Jo Woo-jin), Kung Bo-in (played by Jeon Yeo-bin), and Lee Chang-seop (played by Lee Dong-wook) are depicted.
Faces chasing the independence fighters add tension. Blood-stained stills of Japanese Army Major Mori Tatsuo (played by Park Hoon) were revealed, showing his blind patriotism for Japan as he pursues Ahn Jung-geun.
An official stated, "All actors present an overwhelming aura with intense narrative and visuals," adding, "Please look forward to what they will showcase in the midst of this intense journey."
The stills particularly capture moments from three countries' global locations. The production crew conducted filming across Mongolia, Latvia, and various locations in Korea, forecasting an overwhelming scale and spectacle.
The official heightened expectations by saying, "The intense ensemble crafted by the actors is the highlight of the movie. A vast scale of visual beauty and intense performances filled with the actors' determination unfold."
'Harbin' is a period drama set in 1909. It depicts the breathtaking chase and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a single purpose and those pursuing them.
