Actor Hyun Bin boarded the train to 'Harbin'. On the 12th, CJ ENM unveiled suspense stills from the movie 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min-ho). It captures the image of an independent martyr and portrays the protagonists on a train to Harbin to take down the old wolf.
Ahn Jung-geun (played by Hyun Bin), Woo Deok-soon (played by Park Jung-min), Kim Sang-hyun (played by Jo Woo-jin), and the scholar (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) are shown with their hats pulled low. They secretly attempt to carry out their mission amidst strict vigilance, with their cold gazes adding to the tension.
The production team constructed a set for the train to Harbin. They created a train set in Andong on a 1:1 scale. The interior of the train was designed to convey the atmosphere and texture of the space on screen.
Cinematographer Hong Kyung-pyo stated, "Filming on the train requires a certain level of technical difficulty. We devised ways to shoot more effectively and realistically, drawing on our experience with 'Snowpiercer'."
'Harbin' is a period drama set in 1909. It’s a film about those heading to Harbin with a single purpose and those pursuing them, depicting a breathless chase and suspicion.
