Stray Kids have teased new music that mixes classical elements with modern charm. JYP Entertainment released the music video teaser for the title track “Walkin On Water” from their new release ‘HOP’ (合) on their official SNS channels on the 9th. The setting is a palace and an old house. Stray Kids shot arrows, rode boats, and drove motorcycles there.
The word ‘Water’ in the song’s name was intuitively represented. Anticipation is building for Stray Kids’ unique take on hip-hop. They are introducing a new form of ‘SKZ-Hop Hip Tape,’ a name derived from combining the group’s abbreviation ‘SKZ’ with hip-hop. The first work ‘HOP’ (合) carries a dual meaning, combining ‘HOP’ from hip-hop and the gathering of the eight members. Once again, they went through self-production.
3RACHA participated in the production of the title track “Walkin On Water.” The album contains a total of 12 songs. Stray Kids will release the new format album, SKZ-Hop Hip Tape ‘HOP’ (合), on the 13th at 2 PM (midnight Eastern Time in the US).
Meanwhile, Stray Kids have been nominated for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards in the categories of Top Duo/Group, Top K-Pop Album, and Top Global K-Pop Artist.
