Tomorrow X Together has demonstrated their album power by achieving a certification record in Japan. On the 10th, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced last month’s album certifications. They classify albums based on sales: Gold (100,000 copies), Platinum (250,000 copies), Double Platinum (500,000 copies), Triple Platinum (750,000 copies), and Million (1,000,000 copies).

Tomorrow X Together earned Platinum with their mini 7th album ‘The Chapter of Stars: Sanctuary’, surpassing a total of 250,000 copies sold. They received Platinum certification just one month after releasing the album. This brings their total to 13 albums (6 Korean, 7 Japanese) certified as Gold Discs. They received their first Gold certification in 2020 with ‘Magic Hour’.

They also received their first Platinum and Double Platinum certifications in 2021 and 2022, respectively. This year, they are the only overseas artist to reach Triple Platinum level, achieved through their July release Japanese single ‘Chikai’. In addition, a total of 5 albums were certified Gold, 2 Platinum, and 1 Double Platinum.

Meanwhile, the mini 7th album continues to be well-received, with Oricon weekly sales increasing by 1.7 times compared to the previous release. They also renewed their record for the most consecutive weeks ranked No. 1 in ‘Number of Overseas Artist Albums Consecutively Ranked First’ in the weekly album rankings (11 works).

In Billboard Japan’s 2024 year-end charts, they made it to the major categories of ‘Hot Albums’ and ‘Top Album Sales’. They remained in the American Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ for three consecutive weeks.
