Actor Lee Min-ho brings a story with a human touch from the mysterious realm of space. The production team of the new tvN weekend drama 'Ask the Stars' (written by Seo Sook-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo) released stills and details of Lee Min-ho's character, Gong Ryong, on the 5th. Lee Min-ho takes on the role of Gong Ryong, an obstetrician, and the prospective son-in-law of the chaebol MZ Group. Before marriage, he embarks on a space tour, spending an astronomical amount of money. While staying at the space station, he must complete a secret mission.

Regarding his character, Lee Min-ho explained, "He leads an ordinary life but has his own beliefs and tenacity for life that some might not understand." He added, "I found it endearing to see him trying to accomplish something he's been given, with unrefined passion, honesty, and loyalty expressed purely before life."

Attracted by the innocence and the mysterious world, Lee Min-ho said, "In today's fast-paced era, we're living in times where what is genuinely good and important to humanity is becoming increasingly blurred." He continued, "That's why I was drawn to the story of people realizing the preciousness of life in the purest, most unknown setting of space." He concluded that the greater the determination to protect what one values most, the broader the range of expression Gong Ryong could cover.

He also shared viewing points, saying, "Since space is the backdrop, viewers can fully enjoy the emotions and vastness that can only be experienced in zero gravity and space," and encouraged, "Feel free to follow along and enjoy it with an open heart."

'Ask the Stars' depicts the extraterrestrial life of boss Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and unwelcome guest Gong Ryong (played by Lee Min-ho), who has a secret mission. The first broadcast will be on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 9:20 PM.
