The team behind the movie “Firefighters” is spreading positive influence with the audience. The movie “Firefighters” (directed by Kwak Kyung-taek) has decided to donate 119 KRW per paid ticket to improve the equipment and treatment of firefighters in Korea.

The 119 KRW donation challenge allows viewers to contribute to the firefighters simply by watching the movie. If they break even, they will donate 300 million KRW in cash.

Additionally, the production company plans to make further in-kind donations after breaking even. The donation will support the National Fire Service Hospital, which is scheduled to open next year.

A representative from the production company said, “We expect the 119 KRW donation challenge by the audience in Korea to continue as a meaningful movement that warms the world through positive influence.”

“Firefighters” is inspired by the 2001 Hongje-dong fire disaster. It portrays the story of firefighters who are dispatched with the goal of extinguishing the fire and rescuing everyone despite challenging conditions. Currently showing.
