SEVENTEEN’s The8 shared his thoughts on releasing his Chinese solo album.
On the morning of the 4th, The8 released his first Chinese EP ‘STARDUST’ on various music platforms. The music video was also unveiled that day.
He expressed, “I worked on ‘STARDUST’ for a really long time. I’m happy that the album is finally out,” and added, “I want to showcase my musical style.”
Regarding listening points, he explained, “Overall, it’s a dreamy and rhythmic song. I hope people listen while feeling the hidden emotions and romance.”
‘STARDUST’ signifies star dust scattered across the universe and an unreal, ecstatic vibe, metaphorically expressing The8’s world in terms of the universe.
The album consists of a total of three tracks, including the title track ‘Orbit’, ‘54321’, and ‘Cold Love’, featuring various genres of new songs.
The8 showcased his singer-songwriter skills, having his name in the credits for every track. Member Vernon contributed to the featuring of ‘54321’ and participated in the songwriting and composition of the title track.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is holding their world tour ‘RIGHT HERE’ at Tokyo Dome on the 4th and 5th.
