'Unknown Seoul' is a romance growth drama. It's about twin sisters who are entirely different apart from their looks, swapping lives through lies to find true love.
Park Bo-young takes on the challenge of playing two roles: the twin sisters Yoo Mi-ji and Yoo Mi-rae. She will portray Mi-ji, a free spirit, as well as Mi-rae, an elite public enterprise employee.
These sisters share the same appearance but have opposite personalities. Their life paths are vastly different. For certain reasons, they start lying and exchange their lives.
Park Jin-young plays the part of Lee Ho-soo, a lawyer at a large law firm. He possesses handsome looks, intellect, and a relaxed attitude, appearing flawless on the outside.
However, he strives several times harder than others to live an ordinary life. Due to past events, a different routine came into his life, leading him to an unexpected encounter.
The directing is handled by Park Shin-woo, known for creating a cult following with dramas such as 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' and 'Jealousy Incarnate.' The script is written by Lee Kang.
An official stated, "We expect to deliver empathy and excitement through the process of the twin sisters, who end up living opposite lives, and Ho-soo finding their true selves."
Meanwhile, 'Unknown Seoul' is set to premiere in the first half of next year.
