Red Velvet's Irene has successfully launched her solo career. Irene released her first mini-album 'Like A Flower' on the 26th. According to Hanteo Chart, 250,000 copies were sold on the first day.

She has captivated global fans. 'Like A Flower' topped the iTunes top album charts in 21 regions/countries, including Thailand, Finland, and Chile. That's not all. Irene also claimed the number one spot on China's QQ Music digital album sales chart and ranked high on Japan's AWA rising chart.

'Like A Flower' contains a total of 8 tracks, including the title track of the same name. It is composed of various genres to allow listeners to enjoy a new world of music.

The title track is a pop dance song. It combines a cheerful Afro rhythm with a soft and dreamy sound. The song's message is about blossoming beautifully on your own.

Meanwhile, Irene will appear on SBS PowerFM 'Wendy's Young Street' at 8 PM on the 27th.
