‘BTS’ Jin has entered the Billboard main chart. According to a preview article on the U.S. Billboard charts, Jin took 4th place on the main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ (as of the 30th) with his first solo album ‘Happy.’ He entered the ‘Billboard 200’ Top 5 with his debut album. ‘Happy’ recorded 66,000 album sales, 8,000 SEA units, and 3,000 TEA units.
BTS is the only group where both the group and its members have ranked high on this chart. BTS previously topped the ‘Billboard 200’ six times. The latest work was the anthology album ‘Proof.’ They took 1st place on the ‘Billboard 200’ with ‘Proof’ in June 2022 and remained on the chart for 41 consecutive weeks.
After that, their solo works entered the ‘Billboard 200.’ RM’s ‘Mono’ ranked 26th, ‘Indigo’ 3rd, and ‘Right Place, Wrong Time’ 5th. Suga achieved chart entries twice under the stage name Agust D. ‘D-2’ ranked 11th, and ‘D-Day’ 2nd. V took 2nd place with ‘Layover.’
J-Hope entered the chart three times, starting with ‘Hope World’ at 38th place. ‘Jack In The Box’ was 6th, and ‘Hope On The Street Vol. 1’ 5th. Jimin took 2nd place with ‘Face.’ After ‘Muse’ also hit 2nd, he has been on the chart for over 16 weeks.
Jungkook maintained his chart presence for 24 weeks after ‘Golden’ rose to 2nd. Meanwhile, Jin is marking a career high in terms of solo songs. The title track ‘Running Wild’ ranked 8th on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global.’
