Stray Kids dominated the Japanese charts.
Stray Kids released their second full-length Japanese album ‘GIANT’ on the 13th. According to Oricon, they topped various weekly charts.
‘GIANT’ secured the No. 1 spot on the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ (as of the 25th). It garnered 334,553 points from October 11 to 17, securing a top position.
Stray Kids also claimed the top spot in the ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking.’ It was reported that ‘GIANT’ earned 341,285 points during the charting period.
They proved their immense popularity locally. The group has had a total of four albums reach the top on the Oricon weekly chart, including their first Japanese full-length album, their debut EP, and their eighth mini-album.
The new release also did well on major Billboard Japan charts, topping the ‘Hot Albums’ and ‘Top Album Sales’ categories. They also ranked No. 1 on ‘Artist 100.’
With the release of their second album, Stray Kids are conducting a major promotional campaign. They have collaborated with Santory, Osaka Hep Five, and Spotify.
Their world tour added more excitement. At their ‘dominATE JAPAN’ Tokyo Dome concert, they unveiled the stage for the title track ‘GIANT’ for the first time.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold solo concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka on November 5th and 7-8th. A new album release is also scheduled for December 13th.
