BTS’s V is set to release a duet song with singer Park Hyo-shin. Big Hit Music announced on the 22nd that V’s digital single “Winter Ahead,” featuring Park Hyo-shin, will be released simultaneously worldwide at 2 p.m. on the 29th.

“Winter Ahead” began with V’s hope that ARMY (the fandom) will have a warm winter. He proposed a winter season song project to Park Hyo-shin. It is a jazz-pop genre duet. A lot of effort was invested over a long time to perfect the new song.

They created a piece reflecting both artists’ tastes through collaboration. Worldwide songwriters also took part. American lyricist Jesse Harris, who wrote the lyrics for Norah Jones’s “Don’t Know Why,” contributed to the song. The song conveys warmth to listeners, with its warm melody and romantic lyrics in perfect harmony.

The soft and gentle tones of the two artists further enhance the mood. Meanwhile, V will release his second new track on the 6th of next month at 2 p.m., a duet with pop singer Bing Crosby titled “White Christmas.”
