Singer Lee Hyun will take on the role of radio host. MBC announced on the 18th, “Lee Hyun has been appointed as the main DJ for MBC FM4U’s ‘Close Friend.’ Under the title ‘This is Lee Hyun, Your Close Friend,’ he will communicate with listeners.” This is Lee Hyun’s first time being selected as a radio DJ, taking over from GOT7’s Youngjae.

He will share in-depth stories suited to a K-pop program. ‘Close Friend: This is Lee Hyun’ will have its first broadcast on the 25th, with a special guest scheduled. The occasion will be used to celebrate Lee Hyun’s appointment as DJ and to create meaningful moments.

There is also news of another program update. Every Friday will feature the ‘Close Friend Broadcasting Team.’ A new DJ will be introduced each month to lead the broadcast, starting with PLAYBACK’s Ye Jun. Five members will take turns every week as radio hosts, bringing fresh energy with their vibrant personalities.

Meanwhile, ‘Close Friend: This is Lee Hyun’, hosted by Lee Hyun, will air from the 25th every Monday to Thursday at midnight.
