"Who will be the Trot Emperor of 2025?" The third Trot Emperor, following Lim Young-woong and Ahn Sung-hoon, will emerge. TV Chosun is returning with 'Mr. Trot' Season 3, and the premiere date has been announced: December 19th at 10 PM.
This season's preliminary contestants consist of 101 teams, all of whom are considered exceptional. The lineup includes meteoric rookies, well-established trot singers known for their solid skills, and famous singers with hit songs.
The official poster has also been released. In it, the 101 teams of participants are wearing matching white suits and are lined up following a cake model. The production team hinted that this offers a sneak peek into the opening stage. The host will once again be Kim Sung-joo.
The production team stated, "The official key color for this 'Mr. Trot' season is white. The cake-shaped set represents the ambition of participants dreaming of 'rebirth as a Trot star' and serves as a special gift for viewers."
Meanwhile, 'Mr. Trot 3' will be recording the first round of the finals on the 26th. Applications for the first audience group are currently being accepted through the official website and SNS.
