The trot group ‘K4’ is set to release their third Japanese single. Forest Network announced on the 12th that K4 will release their third Japanese single on the 11th of next month. It is their first new release in about four months and their first Japanese single in eight months. The title track is ‘Love.’ It is a pop Latin genre song characterized by a bossa nova rhythm.
Director Oh Joon-sung took charge of composing and arranging, with lyricist Lee Gun-woo and guitarist Park Joo-won collaborating. K4 will also meet local fans, as they are planning a Japanese concert and fan meeting. In February, they topped the USEN chart (Japan’s largest cable broadcast) for three consecutive weeks with the pre-mini album track ‘Snow Flower.’ K4 is a group produced by domestic producer Oh Joon-sung.
The group name combines the initials of ‘Knight’ and the number of members, 4 (Oh Joo-joo, Kim Hyun-min, Jo Jun, Ryu Pil-lip). They debuted in September 2022. Since then, they have released numerous albums in both Korea and Japan. On the 13th, they held their first solo concert at the Tokyo FM Hall in Chiyoda, Tokyo, which sold out for both performances.
