TXT, Begins Success with Mini 7th Album… “1.58 Million in Initial Sales Surpasses Previous Work”

Tomorrow X Together has demonstrated their strong album power. According to the album sales aggregation site Hanteo Chart, Tomorrow X Together sold a total of 1,579,339 copies of their 7th mini-album ‘The Name Chapter: Sanctuary’ as of the 11th.

This figure surpasses the first week sales of their previous 6th mini-album (1,546,433 copies). They breached 1.21 million copies on the day of release (4th), achieving a million-seller in the first week. Including the new release and their previous albums such as ‘minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’ (2022), ‘The Name Chapter: Temptation’, and ‘The Name Chapter: Freefall’ (2023), a total of five albums have surpassed one million copies in sales within the first week of release.

They initiated their popularity by entering the top 3 on domestic music charts. The title track ‘Over The Moon’ entered Genie’s real-time chart at 82nd and reached 3rd place on the 10th.

They are also continuing their strength in Japan. They sold approximately 277,000 copies within two days of release in Japan, far surpassing the previous work’s weekly sales (174,000 copies). They also topped Japan’s Apple Music ‘Top Albums’ and ‘iTunes Top Albums’ charts.

The title track maintained the top spot for three consecutive days on LINE MUSIC’s daily song chart (November 7-9). The new album deals with the theme of coming back together after going separate ways. It expresses the magical moments experienced through meeting again and the changed world due to it with various emotions of love.

‘Over The Moon’ is an enjoyable song with a vintage sound and unique R&B groove, conveying anticipation for a future together with the loved one. Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together is operating a pop-up store to commemorate the new album release at Iconic Square on B2 of the Hyundai Seoul until the 13th.
