Actors Ju Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi reveal their enemy chemistry. tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Love on a Single Wooden Bridge' (script by Lim Ye-jin, directed by Park Joon-hwa) released a poster on the 6th that encapsulates the relationship between Ju Ji-hoon (playing Seok Ji-won) and Jung Yu-mi (playing Yoon Ji-won). The two engaged in a tense psychological battle, as if in a power struggle. Ju Ji-hoon appeared to be dragged with his tie tightly held by Jung Yu-mi. Their expressions hinted at a fierce warning.
Their exchange of glances implied a relationship that gets entangled despite animosity. With the copy stating '18-year romance of lifelong enemies,’ it foreshadowed a generational enmity romance. 'Love on a Single Wooden Bridge' tells the story of Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won, a man and a woman born on the same day in enemy families. They reunite 18 years after a painful farewell during the summer of their 18th year. The drama portrays a war-like romance between lifelong enemies.
This is the new work of PD Park Joon-hwa, who achieved consecutive hits with 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' and 'Alchemy of Souls' Part 1 and 2. Ju Ji-hoon plays Seok Ji-won, who is not only the chairman of Dokmok High School but also Yoon Ji-won's enemy. Jung Yu-mi takes on the role of Yoon Ji-won, a physical education teacher at Dokmok High. The intriguing bet that started when they were high school students 18 years ago continues into the present, unfolding a tumultuous enemy romance.
The production team stated, "It captures Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won's spicy yet sweet relationship. Their push-and-pull chemistry, oscillating between intense confrontation and romance, will deepen. Look forward to their sweet and fierce banter," they hinted. 'Love on a Single Wooden Bridge' will premiere on the 23rd at 9:20 PM.
