‘BLACKPINK’ Rosé showcased her unyielding popularity in the United States. Billboard released its latest chart (dated November 9) on the 5th (Korean time), where Rosé’s pre-release single ‘Apartment’ (APT.) ranked No.1 on both the ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global 200’ (Excluding U.S.) charts.
It maintained its top position for two consecutive weeks. Since its release on October 18th, it has dominated the Billboard charts. Notably, its streaming numbers are the second-highest in Billboard history (including the U.S.).
Rosé also set a new record for a K-pop female artist on the UK’s Official Chart, achieving No.2 on the single chart (dated November 1). This is the highest position since ‘Gangnam Style’ (No.1, 2012).

‘Apartment’ is a pre-release track from Rosé’s first full album ‘Rosie’. She collaborated with Bruno Mars on the track, inspired by a Korean apartment game. Rosé participated in the songwriting and composing of all the tracks. Previously, it debuted at No.8 on Billboard’s main singles chart ‘Hot 100’, marking the highest achievement for a K-pop female artist. It also surpassed the previous best record (No.13, BLACKPINK + Selena Gomez).
Upon release, it topped the iTunes Top Song Chart in 40 regions/countries and also achieved No.1 on both U.S. and global Spotify. It achieved a ‘perfect all-kill’ on domestic music charts as well. Meanwhile, Rosé is set to release ‘Rosie’ on December 6th, which includes a total of 12 tracks.
