Tomorrow X Together achieved a five-album consecutive million-seller streak. They released their 7th mini album ‘The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY’ on the 4th. According to Hanteo Chart, the new album sold 1,217,880 copies on the first day.
This grants them the title of consecutive initial million-seller for five releases. Last year’s 5th mini album ‘The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION’ sold over a million copies on the day of release. ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’ and ‘Minisode 3: TOMORROW’ achieved the same record. ‘Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’ surpassed one million sales on the second day.
They have showcased their presence on global charts. ‘The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY’ ranked 2nd on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart that day and topped in 25 countries/regions (as of the 5th).
The new song’s popularity is also heating up. The title track ‘Over The Moon’ ranked 3rd on Bugs real-time charts on the day of its release at 9 PM and entered the charts on Genie and Melon.
This new release expresses a changed world through ‘love’ and its different emotions as they reunite with ‘you.’ ‘Over The Moon’ is a pop genre love song expecting the future.
Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together will hold a comeback live broadcast ‘The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY’ on the fandom platform Weverse at 11:30 PM on the 5th.
