Baek Jong-won Teams Up with ‘Black and White’ Chef… ‘Les Miserables’ Premieres on the 30th

Baek Jong-won, the CEO of The Born Korea, will present a reality show with the 'Black and White Chef' chefs about turning lives around. ENA introduced on the 1st that "'Baek Jong-won's Les Miserables' will premiere on the 30th. It is a reality show where contestants perform missions to seize a life-changing opportunity."

'Baek Jong-won's Les Miserables' is a growth entertainment show featuring 20 contestants, each with their own story. They must complete the rigorous Spartan-style missions proposed by Baek Jong-won. The chefs from Netflix's 'Black and White Chef: Cooking Class War,' including Kim Min-sung, David Lee, Lim Tae-hoon, and Yoon Nam-no, will join as mentoring chefs to lead the contestants.

The official poster has also been released. Baek Jong-won is positioned at the center of the poster. He gestures as if introducing the contestants to the world with both hands forward. The 20 contestants appear in the illustration, each wearing clothes with different numbers. Their serious expressions suggest fierce and desperate competition.

The production team said, "Our program began with Baek Jong-won's genuine intention that 'anyone can fail. We want to give them a chance to rise again.'" They added, "Baek Jong-won has worked hard to uplift these 20 contestants. The show is packed with intense characters, a narrative of life-changing moments, and the charm of a human documentary."

Meanwhile, 'Baek Jong-won's Les Miserables' is scheduled to premiere on the 30th at 8:30 PM.
