
Actors Kim Yoon-seok and Lee Seung-gi are displaying a father-son chemistry. On the 31st, distribution company Lotte Entertainment released stills from the movie "Big Family" (directed by Yang Woo-seok). Kim Yoon-seok, Lee Seung-gi, Kim Sung-ryung, and Kang Han-na were captured.
It promises a unique acting ensemble. The film features restaurant owner Ham Moo-ok (played by Kim Yoon-seok) at the center, along with Chief Monk Ham Mun-seok (Lee Seung-gi) and Pengmanok's Madame Bang (Kim Sung-ryung).
Also appearing are Mun-seok's close friend Han Ga-yeon (Kang Han-na), the novice monk In-haeng (Park Soo-young), and siblings Minkook and Min-seon (Kim Si-woo and Yoon Chae-na), building anticipation for their comedic performances.
"Big Family" is a heartwarming family comedy-drama. It tells the story of unexpected grandchildren visiting the owner of a renowned dumpling restaurant whose family line seemed to end because his son became a monk.
This marks director Yang Woo-seok's return to the screen. Yang, acclaimed for his detailed directing in films like "The Attorney" and the "Steel Rain" series, also wrote the screenplay for this film.
Kim Yoon-seok is showing a completely different side from his existing filmography, suddenly becoming a grandfather. Lee Seung-gi also underwent a drastic transformation, shaving his head for the monk role.
Meanwhile, "Big Family" is set to be released on December 11th.
