BLACKPINK’s Rosé has set another new record. The UK’s Official Chart announced the latest chart rankings on the 26th (Korean time). Rosé’s “APT.” entered the ‘Official Singles Top 100’ at 4th place. This marks the highest rank ever achieved by a Korean female singer. Previously, the highest record on this chart was 8th place by FIFTY FIFTY. “APT.” is four spots ahead of “Cupid.”
Jennie also charted alongside Rosé. Her new song “Mantra” is listed at 54th place. Last week, it made its debut entry at 27th place.

Rosé is sweeping global music charts. On the 25th, “APT.” surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform. This achievement was made just seven days after its release, setting the shortest record for a K-pop female solo artist. It is the second instance for a K-pop artist to surpass 100 million streams in one week.
She became the first Korean female solo artist to top Spotify in the US and to reach number one on the Global Spotify Top Songs chart, marking a career high. “APT.” achieved number one in 40 regions on the iTunes chart upon release. It is also number one on Spotify US, affirming its global popularity.

Domestically, she achieved a ‘Perfect All-Kill’ (Pak) on music sites. She dominated the real-time charts, daily charts, and the Top 100 on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe. She also ranked number one on China’s largest music site, QQ Music, impacting both the Americas and Asia. Videos of group singing are being uploaded from places like Europe on social media. The music video featuring Bruno Mars is also a hit, surpassing 25 million views within the first 24 hours of its release, and reaching 100 million views in just five days.
‘APT.’ is a pre-release track from Rosé’s first full-length album, ‘rosie.’ It is inspired by the famous Korean game, ‘Apartment,’ and Rosé participated directly in its production.
