“Attitude of three former members of Fifty Fifty is very regrettable.”
The Korea Management Federation (KMF) expressed its stance on the Fifty Fifty incident on the 25th, condemning the actions of the three former members announcing their return to activities.
KMF stated, “We recognize the seriousness of the tampering (contacting another agency before contract termination) that affected ATTRAKT and express our concern.”
They pointed out that tampering violates relevant laws, emphasizing that “it breaches the fair contractual order and undermines the trust foundation of the entertainment industry.”
The three former members left ATTRAKT and signed an exclusive contract with Maseve Entertainment under NSEnM, forming the girl group, Ablume.
KMF criticized this, saying, “The attitude of avoiding responsibility for their actions and attempting to resume activities with another agency is very regrettable.”
They continued, “It contradicts basic contractual ethics and common sense, damaging the trust of stakeholders,” adding, “It significantly lowers the credibility of the entire entertainment industry.”
KMF also conveyed, “We urge all artists to take responsibility for their actions and comply with the legal and ethical obligations of their contracts.”
They plan to take measures to prevent similar cases from happening again, stating, “We will strengthen legal actions to prevent damages from tampering” and sought participation.
Meanwhile, ATTRAKT filed a lawsuit against Warner Music Korea on the 23rd, seeking damages of 20 billion KRW. They have secured evidence to prove the tampering claims.

Hello, this is the Korea Management Federation (KMF).
As mentioned in our recent press release, our federation recognizes the seriousness of the tampering incident that affected ATTRAKT, a member company, and expresses concern over it. Tampering is a serious illegal act that violates the fair contractual order and undermines the trust foundation of the entertainment industry. Nevertheless, it is very regrettable that three former members of Fifty Fifty, involved in tampering, are attempting to resume activities with another agency while avoiding responsibility for their actions.
Such actions go against fundamental contractual ethics and common sense, severely damaging the trust of all stakeholders. The contract relationship between artists and agencies is not just a legal bond but is based on mutual trust. However, unilaterally terminating a contract through tampering and pushing for a new contract without fulfilling the consequent legal and ethical responsibilities is a major issue that undermines the industry’s fairness.
In particular, attempts by the artists who led the tampering to ignore existing contractual relationships and resume activities are unethical in themselves and significantly reduce the overall credibility of the entertainment industry. If such actions continue to be tolerated, existing exclusive contracts will hold no binding power, increasing the likelihood of disregarding contracts in pursuit of profit, ultimately causing confusion and distrust across the industry.
The Korea Management Federation takes this situation very seriously and strongly condemns any attempts to nullify contracts illegally through tampering. We urge all artists to take responsibility for their actions and comply with the legal and ethical obligations of their contracts. Additionally, we will strengthen legal measures to prevent damages from tampering and actively respond to prevent similar cases from recurring.
Artists deserve respect for their rights and freedoms, but it must be within the framework of legitimate procedures and contracts. The Korea Management Federation is committed to maintaining fair order and requests the cooperation of industry stakeholders in this effort.
Thank you.
