Actress Lee Ha-nee transforms from a villainous prosecutor to show off her honed undercover investigation skills. SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Fiery Priest 2' (written by Park Jae-beom and directed by Park Bo-ram) released character stills of Park Kyung-seon (played by Lee Ha-nee) on the 23rd, revealing her intense prosecutor presence.

In this season, Park Kyung-seon becomes an ally to priest Kim Hae-il (played by Kim Nam-gil). She goes to Busan to assist Kim Hae-il, taking on the role of a righteous black prosecutor. Her overflowing confidence was evident. She hid her face with an all-black fashion and sunglasses and power walked, intriguing viewers with her natural smile and brainy demeanor.

She leads the 'cider tsunami.' Lee Ha-nee expressed, "(Joining in Season 2) I'm very happy and moved. It's amazing and grateful to be able to film again."

She added, "In Season 1, if Park Kyung-seon started as a corrupt prosecutor and then transformed into a righteous prosecutor after meeting Father Kim Hae-il, in Season 2, she becomes an ally."

'Stealthy action' was also hinted at. "Kyung-seon had nothing but grit. In Season 2, she will gain weapons that can be seen as action, making it more diverse to watch," she introduced.

How will the chemistry be with the 'The Fiery Priest' team reuniting after five years? Lee Ha-nee said, "I've been in touch with the director and actors and occasionally met up, so reuniting on set didn’t feel unfamiliar."

She expressed satisfaction with the amicable filming atmosphere. "It felt as if no time had passed, like meeting people I saw yesterday. It felt too comfortable, like an extension of Season 1," she conveyed.

The production team urged viewers, saying, "Lee Ha-nee is a treasure on set with both gentle charisma and humor," and asked to pay attention to Park Kyung-seon's variety of activities.

Meanwhile, 'The Fiery Priest 2' is a cooperative investigative drama where a fiery priest goes to Busan to confront the country's top drug cartel. It will premiere on the 8th of next month.
